Removing eyebrow hair is an unpleasant thing, since not so many men and women out there who were born with perfect eyebrows. Others are left with plucking, shaving, waxing and whatsoever to do to make their eyebrows to look what they like. Let's see what methods are out there to help us make our eyebrows shaped better.

One very common method is using tweezers. Well, if you know what is that - it is not tweezing the right way actually! So what should you do? You need to wet your hair - this will make the process less painful; do not pull many hairs at a time, limit yourself to one or two at a time - it will not only lessen the painful experience, but you will have better control over the shape of your eyebrows; don't over pluck, you may regret later if done so. Among possible side effects of these methods there are redness of the skin in the worked areas, some irritation may be there as well. This method gives better results over shaving, in a sense that the hair grow back slower.

Shaving has been there over the long time; some women shave only particular areas, while others shave the eyebrows off completely. Then the simply use an eyebrow pencil to draw them back in the way they like them to be.

Another method involves using of threads (the procedure is known as eyebrow threading). In this procedure the hairs are pulled out with a tool that looks like standard yarn. To get the best results one will need some practice. The professionally done this procedure will cost around $10-$20 per treatment.

Waxing is quite popular among women. The essence is the same - the hairs are pulled out, the difference is in the way how it is done. The hairs are pulled all at once, because the method uses a hot wax put on the required area and after a while the wax is removed along with the unwanted hair. This eyebrow hair removal process is not painless, although the hairs will grow slower than when after the shaving, so in average waxing can be done once a month (this is in average, because everybody has different body mechanisms).

More contemporary method is using a hair removal cream like Revitol. The cream is simply applied to the required areas, and after the short amount of time it can be wiped out. The process is usually pain free, and the results are quite good.

OK, we also need to mention one of the modern methods - eyebrow hair laser removal. This method is the most expensive out of those mentioned above, but the results are the best as well. The technology is that the laser beam targets the hair follicle and thus damages it, which prevents hair from growth. The treatment is not one time, because every hair follicle has its own growth cycle. You will need 5-8 treatments, but the result will remain for quite a long. Maybe it will not stop your hair from growth totally, but you will forget about your problems for long. That is why this method is called permanent laser hair removal.

Remember that it is always better to consult with your doctor before you start your treatment. It will not only help you to attain maximum results, but also may free you from possible side effects. Choose any eyebrow hair removal option that fits your needs and budget.
